By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Union government has approved the appointment of three senior IPS officers to crucial leadership positions in the Central Armed Police Forces, reinforcing operational command and administrative strength across border guarding, industrial security and internal security domains.
Daljeet Singh, IPS (BH:2007), has been appointed Inspector General in the Border Security Force on central deputation. He will serve at Level-14 of the pay matrix against an existing vacancy, bringing with him extensive field and supervisory experience. He has been directed to be relieved immediately to assume charge at the Centre.
Rajeev Mishra, IPS (BH:2010), has been appointed Deputy Inspector General in the Central Industrial Security Force on deputation. His induction comes at a time when CISF continues to expand its role in securing critical infrastructure, airports and strategic installations across the country.
Shalabh Mathur, IPS (UP:2006), has been appointed Inspector General in the Central Reserve Police Force, also at Level-14. His posting is expected to add depth to CRPF’s leadership as the force remains central to counter-insurgency, internal security and election-related deployments.
All three appointments have been made against existing vacancies under the usual terms and conditions of central deputation, and the respective state cadres have been requested to relieve the officers immediately to enable them to take up their new assignments at the Centre.
