Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Reviews Madhya Pradesh’s Advanced PIN Irrigation Technology

THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| In a significant step towards adopting modern irrigation solutions, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai were given a detailed presentation on the latest Pressure Irrigation Network (PIN) technology in Bhopal. The presentation was delivered by Rajesh Rajora, Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, on this occasion Principal Secrat to Chhattisgarh CM Vishnudev Sai, Subodh Kumar Singh, IAS (1997 batch, Chhattisgarh cadre) were also present.

Rajora explained that compared to traditional irrigation methods, the PIN system is far more efficient, technologically advanced, and aligned with water conservation principles. He highlighted how this modern network optimizes water usage, enhances distribution efficiency, and supports sustainable agriculture—critical for regions facing growing water stress.

Chief Minister Sai appreciated the presentation and described the technology as highly relevant to both present and future irrigation needs. Acknowledging its potential to transform water management, the Chief Minister directed departmental officials to study, test, and implement the technology in a phased manner in Chhattisgarh.

With Subodh Kumar Singh actively coordinating the review, the engagement reflects a broader intent to explore innovative inter-state solutions and adopt proven best practices that can strengthen irrigation efficiency and support farmers across Chhattisgarh.
