By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| RAIPUR: Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan praised Chhattisgarh’s remarkable transition from decades of Left-Wing Extremism (LWE) to a thriving hub of development, peace, and opportunity. Addressing the third convocation of AIIMS Raipur, he commended the state’s decisive progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
Highlighting the state’s transformation, the Vice-President noted that areas once affected by violence and infrastructure deficits are now defined by expanding networks of roads, schools, hospitals, and rising investment opportunities. He described AIIMS Raipur as a key symbol of this new era, evolving into a premier tertiary-care healthcare center serving remote and tribal populations.
Emphasizing social growth, Vice-President Radhakrishnan lauded the increasing representation of women in higher education, pointing out that more female than male students graduated during the convocation. He concluded that Chhattisgarh’s strong security framework, combined with development-oriented governance, provides a powerful model for nation-building as India advances toward the vision of Viksit Bharat.
