The Chhattisgarh Government has approved financial assistance exceeding ₹12 lakh for the treatment of 10-year-old Rimon Tandon, a resident of Dhurkot village in Sakti district, who is battling a rare medical condition known as Isolated Growth Hormone Deficiency (Type A-1).
The decision was taken following a meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence, where Rimon’s family members presented medical documents detailing his condition and the estimated cost of treatment. Considering the financial requirements, the government has approved assistance exceeding ₹12 lakh under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme to facilitate his treatment.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai reiterated the state government’s commitment to ensuring access to better healthcare facilities for every citizen and extending government support to families facing medical emergencies. He assured that no shortcomings would be allowed in Rimon’s treatment and that the government would take responsibility for ensuring proper and timely medical care.
The assistance is expected to provide significant relief to the family, which is confronting the challenges associated with the child’s rare condition and the high cost of treatment.
Expressing his concern and hope for the young boy’s recovery, the Chief Minister prayed that Rimon regains his health soon, retains his cheerful smile and pursues his dreams with confidence.

For Rimon and his family, the approval brings renewed hope and the prospect of receiving the medical care needed to help him move towards a healthier future.
