Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister,Jai Ram Thakur arrived at Omkareshwar Power Station after visiting and worshiping Lord Omkar at the Jyotirlinga temple during his stay on September 11, 2021, Prastha Kumar Dixit, General Manager (Project Head) welcomed the CM along with senior officials, Sunil Jain, General Manager (Civil) provided the information about the NHDC Omkareshwar Power Station on this occasion.

said that NHPC Limited in Himachal Pradesh has set new dimensions of development in the state through hydro power and I am happy that Omkareshwar Power Station has been formed by NHPC Limited in association with Madhya Pradesh Government in the form of NHDC Limited. And through Indira Sagar Power Station, excellent work is being done in the field of hydropower and irrigation, for this work, he sent best wishes to the officers and employees of the power station.
