During the ongoing two days seminar on ‘Energy Efficient & Environment Friendly Technologies Equipment & Services for Indian Iron & Steel Industry’,Salil Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, MECON Limited., was awarded Life Time Achievement Award for his contribution towards Industry during his illustrious career.

Salil Kumar has joined as Director (Projects) and now assigned the additional charge of the post of Chairman and managing Director of the Company w.e.f. 13.09.2021. He is an Electrical engineering graduate from MNREC (MNNIT), Allahabad. He started his career with M/s HINDALCO, Renukut in the year 1983. Thereafter in the year 1987, he joined Engineering Projects (India) Limited and had played integral role in the implementation of various projects. Kumar has rich and varied experience spanning over more than 34 years in Project Management, Planning & Project Execution on turnkey basis, Cost Estimation, Tendering, Business Development and Contract Management for multi-disciplinary Projects in the field of Infrastructure Steel, Power and Process Plants.
