Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC, India’s premier hydropower company and a ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Enterprise of Government of India delivered an address at General Assembly of International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD) on 14th June 2019 at Ottawa, Canada. In his address, Joshi gave an insight into hydropower sector in India and also highlighted NHPC’s activities towards the development of hydropower. This prestigious event with the theme ‘Sustainable and Safe Dams around the World’ was organized by International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD).
