Rajni Kant Agrawal, Chairman cum Managing Director, WAPCOS and NPCC is conferred with PSU Samarpan Award
for his dedication, vision and remarkable leadership towards advancement of the PSU sector. The award was presented by GovConnect during PSU Transformation Conclave in a glittering ceremony held at New Delhi. WAPCOS, a MINI RATNA-I Public Sector Enterprise under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Jal Shakti, is a technology driven Consultancy and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) organization. The Company has provided engineering solutions to various clients in over fifty (50) countries and has developed global presence, particularly in South Asia and across Africa, for various development projects in the areas of water, power and infrastructure sectors.

Rajni Kant Agrawal is the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of our Company with effect from October 4, 2021. He has been associated with our Company since June 28, 1991. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from BITS Pilani, Rajasthan and also holds a master’s degree in water resources engineering from IIT Delhi. He also has a master’s degree in business administration from Sikkim Manipal University (formerly known as Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences). He has more than thirty-two (32) years of experience in the field of planning, design and implementation of water resources, power and infrastructure development projects in India and overseas. He also holds rich experience and 178 expertise in project planning, contract management, construction supervision and project implementation and actively involved in business development activities of our Company. He is also the Chairman cum Managing Director (Additional Charge) and Director (Engineering) (Additional Charge) of our Subsidiary and a Director in GPCL Consulting Services Limited.
