BHOPAL: Congress undefeated and undebated leader Kamalnath today lodged his maiden presence as Madhya Pradesh Congress new state President here in Bhopal. He formally took charge as the party chief in the state where the Assembly elections are due later this year.

The nine-time MP from Chhindwara, Kamalnath was given a rousing welcome on his arrival at the airport here. Kamal roadshow filled the thrill and unity in the congressman. After morethan one and a half decade Bhopal turned congress clade as it use to be in Arjun Singh, Motilal Vohra and Digvijaya Singh’s era.
according to observers 1st May 2018 Bhopal lookeled like a congress ruled state ratherthan BJP ruled state as from the airport to PCC Office in almost five hours journey no BJP’s existence were seen in Bhopal.

The former Union minister travelled in a huge procession to the party office Indira Bhawan, located about 15 kms from the airport.

Braving the scorching heat of over 41 degree Celsius, the Congressmen welcomed Nath by beating drums and dancing on the roadsides, causing traffic snarls at some places.

The state Congress’ new election campaign committee chairman, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and senior party leader Digvijay Singh accompanied Nath in his vehicle.
