The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has notified the Select Lists of State Civil Service officers of Jammu & Kashmir for filling promotion-quota vacancies in the AGMUT cadre of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). The notification was issued on August 28, 2026.

The 2019 Select List comprises 18 officers, while the 2020 Select List includes six entries. Nisar Ahmad Wani’s name in the 2019 list has been included provisionally, subject to receipt of the Integrity Certificate from the State Government.
