Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD MOIL Limited & Addl. Charge CMD MECON has been honoured with & “BUSINESS LEADER OF THE YEAR” award & “CEO WITH HR ORIENTATION” award at the 32nd World HRD Congress & Awards held on February 15 in Mumbai.

Under his visionary leadership, MOIL’s production has surged to 14.33 lakh tonnes in the first 10 months of FY’23, registering a remarkable growth of 40% over CPLY. This achievement marks the highest production figure recorded in any financial year since the company’s inception. On the sales front, the company has achieved an impressive growth of 34% from April to January 2024 over CPLY.

Ajit Kumar Saxena was bestowed with CEO with HR Orientation award for his effective communication with and towards employees, pioneering innovations within HR practices, and adeptness in change management.

He graduated from the esteemed IIT-BHU with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1986. With over 36 years of extensive experience in technical, operational, project management, and mining fields within the steel sector, he brings a wealth of expertise. Before his current role, Ajit Kumar Saxena served as Director (Operations) at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) for approximately three years.
