By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, received a courtesy call from V. Srinivas, who has recently taken over as Chief Secretary of Rajasthan. The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on their long professional association at the Centre, where Srinivas spent seven years as Union Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances and the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare.
Dr. Singh recalled Srinivas’s contribution to strengthening grievance redress mechanisms, promoting administrative reforms and improving pension-related service delivery. He described the tenure as productive and impactful, noting that several citizen-centric initiatives were advanced during this period.
Wishing him success in his new role, Dr. Singh expressed confidence that the experience gained at the Union level would greatly benefit Rajasthan. He conveyed his best wishes for an equally successful innings as the head of administration in one of the country’s important northwestern states.
