Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, CMD, SECL has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Udyog Ratna Award’ by the Institute of Economic Studies (IES), New Delhi for his outstanding leadership power in the Coal Industry.

‘Udyog Ratna Award’ ceremony were held on 19th May 2022 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi in which the awards were given by the Governor of Assam Prof. Jagdish Mukhi.

Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra has been known in the coal industry as a seasoned mining engineer, who has successfully coordinated technology and innovation in many big mines of the country. Especially in the underground mines. Mishra’s expertise is acknowledged by the industry. He has also previously been the CMD of Eastern Coalfields Limited. Dr. Mishra holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Law and a PhD in CSR related subjects

Even before this, Dr. Mishra has received prestigious awards like the prestigious “CEO with HR Orientation” award by World HRD Congress in February 2019, “Excellence Award” by Indian Mine Managers Association (IMMA) in January 2020.
