Four IPS Officers Appointed on Central Deputation to Key National Security Roles

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|The Union government has approved the appointment of four IPS officers from Uttarakhand and Rajasthan cadres to senior positions in central security and investigative organisations on deputation, strengthening leadership in key institutions.

Neeru Garg, IPS (Uttarakhand:2005), has been appointed Deputy Inspector General in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police on central deputation. The Uttarakhand government has been requested to relieve her immediately to assume duties.

Jai Yadav, IPS (Rajasthan:2012), has been appointed Deputy Inspector General in the Border Security Force on central deputation. The Rajasthan government has been requested to relieve him immediately to enable joining.

Mukhtar Mohsin, IPS (Uttarakhand:2005), has been appointed Deputy Director at DIG level in the National Crime Records Bureau on deputation. He will assume charge against the vacancy arising on April 17, 2026.

Arun Mohan Joshi, IPS (Uttarakhand:2006), has been appointed Deputy Inspector General in the Border Security Force on central deputation. The Uttarakhand government has been requested to relieve him immediately for joining.
