BY THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) has recommended S Sivasankar for the post of Executive Director (ED) at New India Assurance Company Ltd. (NIACL). On December 03, 2025, the Bureau interacted with three shortlisted candidates from public sector non-life insurers, assessing their performance, experience, and leadership capability.

Sivasankar emerged as the most suitable choice based on overall merit and sectoral relevance. The recommendation reflects FSIB’s focus on ensuring competent leadership to strengthen governance, enhance operational efficiency, and support NIACL’s strategic growth in India’s evolving insurance landscape.
