GIFT Nifty has achieved a new milestone by registering its highest-ever monthly turnover of US $103.45 billion (equivalent to INR 9,16,576 crore) with 2.06 million contracts during October 2025. This record surpasses its previous best of US $102.35 billion set in May 2025, marking a significant achievement in its growth trajectory.

Standing as a new benchmark for the Indian equity market’s global aspirations, GIFT Nifty continues to attract growing participation and confidence from investors worldwide. This milestone underscores the rising international interest and trust in GIFT Nifty as a reliable indicator of India’s economic momentum and financial strength.

Since the commencement of full-scale operations on July 3, 2023, trading activity on NSE IX through GIFT Nifty has expanded exponentially. As of October 30, 2025, GIFT Nifty has recorded a total cumulative volume of over 52.71 million contracts, translating into a cumulative turnover of US $2.39 trillion.
