The competent authority has appointed Smt. Parminder Chopra, the current Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Power Finance Corporation Ltd., to hold the additional charge of Chairman & Managing Director of REC Ltd. The appointment is effective immediately and will continue for a period of three months or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Smt. Chopra will carry out the responsibilities of both roles in addition to her existing duties as CMD of Power Finance Corporation Ltd.
