Govt. Reconstitutes NSA Board; Former R&AW Chief Alok Joshi Appointed Chairman

(THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM) On Wednesday, the government has reportedly announced the reconstitution of the National Security Advisory Board, appointing former R&AW chief Alok Joshi as its chairman. The newly formed seven-member board includes several distinguished retired military officers: Air Marshal P.M. Sinha, former Western Air Commander; Lieutenant General A.K. Singh, former Southern Army Commander; and Rear Admiral Monty Khanna. Additionally, two retired Indian Foreign Service officers—Rajiv Ranjan Verma and Manmohan Singh—have also been appointed to the board.
