Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Jal Shakti inaugurates Dam at Indroka, Jodhpur and 72 Artificial Recharge Structures (Check Dams and Anicuts) spread over various parts of Rajasthan, constructed by WAPCOS limited, in the presence of Jogaram Patel. Minister of Parliamentary Affairs & Justice, Govt. of Rajasthan. R. K. Agrawal, CMD, WAPCOS; Sriram Vedire, Advisor to Minister of Jal Shakti; Dr. Sunil Ambast, Chairman, CGWB; various dignitaries and officials from Ministry of Jal Shakti and WAPCOS graced the occasion. This 715m long and 9.3m high Zoned Earth Filled Dam and other Artificial Recharge Structures shall recharge the ground water and meet the shortage of water in the area.
