Puri also welcomed HPCL’s introduction of India’s first on-demand LPG cylinder delivery through a quick-commerce platform. Integrated with digital booking through HP Pay, the initiative represents a major leap in making LPG delivery faster, more convenient and digitally accessible. The move aligns with the government’s broader vision of Digital India by integrating technology into essential public services.
According to the Minister, innovations such as HP Navya and app-based LPG delivery are reshaping India’s clean energy ecosystem by making cooking fuel more accessible while significantly enhancing consumer convenience. He noted that digital transformation is no longer limited to financial services or governance but is increasingly becoming the cornerstone of India’s energy infrastructure.
The Petroleum Minister emphasized that customer-focused innovations are vital for strengthening India’s energy security while ensuring inclusive access to clean cooking fuel across urban and rural markets. These initiatives, he observed, support the government’s Ease of Living agenda by delivering services that are efficient, transparent and technology-driven.
