The Haryana Government on Sunday ordered a significant reshuffle of IAS and HCS officers across the state, assigning new responsibilities to several senior and mid-level administrators with immediate effect. The transfer orders issued by the state government covered officers posted in district administration, municipal bodies, environment, taxation, health, panchayats, citizen resources, transport and other key departments.

Among the prominent changes, Virender Kumar Dahiya was posted as Special Secretary to Government, Haryana Secretariat Establishment, while continuing as Director Environment Haryana and Special Secretary, Environment, Forests & Wildlife Department. Dr. Harish Kumar Vashishth was appointed Deputy Commissioner, Panipat, whereas Dr. Jainder Singh Chhilar became Deputy Commissioner, Palwal.

Samwartak Singh Khangwal was posted as Administrator, HSVP Faridabad and Additional Director, Urban Estate, Faridabad. Shashvat Sangwan was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Haryana Parivar Pehchan Authority, besides being given additional charge in the Citizen Resources Information Department.

The reshuffle also included several HCS officers. Ruchi Singh Bedi was posted as Additional Excise and Taxation Commissioner (Administration), while Ashutosh Rajan became Additional Director (Administration), Development and Panchayats Department. Shambhu was assigned the responsibility of Additional Director, Consolidation of Land Holdings and Land Records.

Dr. Kuldeep Singh was posted as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Vyaspur, while Jaspal Singh became SDO (Civil), Chhachhrauli. Amit Maan was appointed Secretary, Municipal Corporation Faridabad and Rohit Kumar was posted as City Magistrate, Hisar.

The transfer list also saw appointments in municipal administration and district-level governance. Anil Kumar Doon became District Municipal Commissioner, Jind, whereas Apratim Singh was appointed City Magistrate, Nuh. Monika was posted as Joint Director, Department of Future Haryana, and Pramesh Singh became City Magistrate, Kaithal.

The reshuffle is being viewed as part of the Haryana Government’s continuing efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency and streamline governance across departments and districts.
