Bishwadip Dey (IFS), High Commissioner-designate to the United Republic of Tanzania, called on R. K. Agrawal, Chairman and Managing Director, WAPCOS limited on 16th July 2024. Both the officials had discussions about the WAPCOS Limited operations in Tanzania and prospects of mutual interest. In 2023 the Ministry of Water, Govt. of United Republic of Tanzania, in a Stake Holders’ Meeting, recognised WAPCOS as a Key Stake Holder in Water Sector for achieving the Water Sector Goals. The contribution of WAPCOS as the successful implementation of various strategic infrastructure projects in Tanzania has been remarkable in the recent years. In past WAPCOS also has been conferred with prestigious Award for Excellence in Water Supply Project in Tanzania by Consulting Engineers Association of India (CEAI).
