Hindustan Copper Ltd., Embarks on Digital Transformation, Launched eOffice

The initiative was inaugurated by Sanjiv Kumar Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, HCL, at the company’s Corporate Office in Kolkata. The event was attended by Dr Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, Director (Operations) and Director (Mining) – Addl. Charge, HCL; R V N Vishweshwar, Director (Finance), HCL; Harsimran Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer, HCL; and other senior officials.
Unit Heads and eOffice core members from various HCL Units and Offices, along with the team from the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and representatives from Common Service Centre Special Purpose Vehicle (CSC SPV) data centers across India, participated virtually through video conferencing.
The eOffice implementation is set to revolutionize HCL’s internal functioning by promoting a more efficient, transparent, and accountable digital workflow. The system will ensure faster decision-making, robust data security, and seamless collaboration while reducing the physical movement of files. It is also expected to bring about a positive transformation in organizational culture, aligning with the government’s vision of Digital India and e-Governance.
