Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Government of India, Amit Shah inaugurated the Janganana Bhawan for the Office of Registrar General of India, Ministry of Home Affairs at New Delhi on 22.05.2023. Nityanand Rai and Ajay Kumar Mishra, Union Ministers of State for Home Affairs were the guests of Honour. Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Home Secretary, Mrityunjay Kumar Narayan, Registrar General of India & Census Comm. and R.K.Agrawal, CMD WAPCOS were present at the occasion.This building is in Lutyens Zone, Delhi. WAPCOS executed Design, Engineering & Construction of Multi Storied Janganana Bhawan. WAPCOS also executed Office Building for Regional Census Centres at Guwahati, Assam and Raipur, Chattisgarh.
