HUDCO organises DoPT training for All India Service Officers

Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs inaugurated a week-long in-service training programme- ‘Financing Urban Infrastructure and Services in India’, for All India Service Officers. The Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India sponsored training programme is organized by HUDCO’s Research & Training Institute (HSMI) at New Delhi. The training is designed to address key issues in financing urban infrastructure and impart necessary skills for successful execution of such projects.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Mishra outlined the contours of urban infrastructure financing and explained how the Government of India is leveraging its resources to generate more funds from other sources, including private investment in projects. Addressing the participants,Kamran Rizvi, Additional Secretary, MoHUA & CMD, HUDCO, highlighted the Government of India initiatives to tackle challenges in urban infrastructure financing.
