Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) continues to reaffirm its commitment to nation-building through empowerment, excellence, and sustainability. On 8th October 2025, the organisation marked a day of dual achievements — celebrating both its impactful social outreach and its leadership in occupational safety.

Under its flagship CSR initiative, Project SAKSHAM, HURL organised a Certificate Distribution and Job Placement Ceremony at CIPET, Varanasi, to commemorate the successful completion of a six-month free Skill Development Training Programme in Machine Operator–Plastic Processing (MO-PP) and Machine Operator–Injection Moulding (MOPP). Conducted in collaboration with CIPET, the programme equipped youth with hands-on industrial skills, enhancing their employability and paving the way for sustainable livelihoods.

A proud milestone of the initiative was the placement of 75 trained candidates with leading plastic processing industries across India — a clear reflection of HURL’s mission to create industry-ready youth and strengthen the nation’s workforce. The ceremony was graced by HURL’s Vice President (HR) and senior officials from both HURL and CIPET, whose presence inspired the young graduates to embark on their professional journeys with confidence and purpose.

Adding to this day of distinction, HURL was honoured with the Platinum Award for Excellence in Occupational Health & Safety at the FAME National Awards 2025, held in Dehradun. This prestigious recognition celebrates HURL’s unwavering dedication to maintaining a safe, sustainable, and people-centric work environment, rooted in its core value — “Safety First, Always.”

The award stands as a testament to the collective discipline, vigilance, and proactive spirit of HURL’s teams across all units, whose daily commitment upholds the highest standards of operational excellence and employee well-being.
