IRCON has made a significant stride towards Mission 100% Electrification with the successful completion of Railway Electrification work between Duliajan – New Tinsukia of Tinsukia Division of Northeast Frontier Railway. Electric Loco Trial has been successfully completed between Duliajan to New Tinsukia (20 route KM and 29 Track KM) in Tinsukia Division of Notheast Frontier Railway on 01.06.2025 with Maximum Sectional Speed. With this trial, entire Rajdhani route in Tinsukia division has been made fit for electric traction.
