IRCON Secured a Prestigious ₹1,068 Crore Rail Bridge Project from East Central Railway

IRCON International Limited has been awarded a landmark Railway Infrastructure project by East Central Railway, involving the construction of a 4.090 km long rail bridge between Bikramshila and Katareah stations in Bihar. Project cost is ₹1,068.34 crores with a completion period of 1,460 days. This bridge is a crucial element of a new railway line designed to enhance connectivity across the region. Bridge features a structural configuration comprising of 2 spans of 32.086 meters and 33 spans of 122.00 meters Open Web Girder (OWG). This reflects IRCON’s technical expertise and capability in Executing Large-Scale, Complex Engineering Projects. Strategically located, the Bridge is expected to play a transformative role in Strengthening Bihar’s Transportation Infrastructure, facilitating both Passenger and Freight movement, and Promoting Regional Economic Development.
