New Delhi 14.09.2023 : Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) is a “Mini Ratna (Category-I)” Central Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Railways, Government of India.
To realize the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage and magnificent historical places and also to promote the noble tourism concepts of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” & “Dekho Apna Desh”, the Indian Railways introduced the concept of operating theme based tourist trains under the banner of “Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains”. These theme-based trains have been designed to showcase the rich cultural and religious heritage of Bharat to the domestic and international tourists.
It is a dream of every devotee to visit the Char Dhams i.e. Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram and Dwarkadhish, once in his life time. After the success of tours like “Shri Ramayana Yatra”, “Garvi Gujarat” and several others, the train is about to be operated on the popular pilgrimage circuit “Chardham Yatra” by Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train.
This 17 days tour starts from Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station on September 14, 2023 and covers the visit of Badrinath including the Badrinath temple, Mana Village (near China border), Narsingha Temple (Joshimath), Rishikesh, Puri including the revered Jagannath temple, beaches of Puri, Konark Sun Temple and Chandrabhaga beach, Rameshwaram including Ramanathaswamy Temple and Dhanushkodi, Dwarka including Dwarkadhish temple, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, and Bet Dwarka. Beyond these, the guests shall also be visiting Jyotirlinga temples at Varanasi, Nashik and Dwarka and other prominent places like Madurai and Hampi. Guests will be travelling roughly 8250 Kms in this tour.
Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train has a host of attractive features including two fine dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cubicles in AC I and II tier coaches, sensor based washroom functions, foot massager etc. The fully air-conditioned train provides three types of accommodation viz. AC I, AC II and AC III. The train has enhanced security features of CCTV cameras and Security Guards for each coach.

Package price covers train journey in respective AC classes, accommodation in Deluxe hotels for AC I and II and budget category hotels for AC III category, all meals on and off the train (vegetarian only), all transfers & sight-seeing in AC vehicles (except hilly areas), travel insurance and services of IRCTC Tour Managers etc.
