In a significant step towards accelerating technology-driven governance and modern management practices, India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), in collaboration with Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) and Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), has brought the AI Champions Programme to New Delhi. The pioneering initiative aims to expose senior government officials and Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) leaders to the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The first-of-its-kind AI summit is dedicated to advancing smarter governance, innovation and future-ready management practices. The programme brings together senior administrators, policymakers and public sector executives to explore how AI can enhance decision-making, operational efficiency and citizen-centric service delivery.
Designed as an immersive learning experience, the programme focuses on hands-on practice sessions using live datasets, real-world case studies and practical AI applications. Participants are being trained to understand the effective use of AI tools for data-driven governance, strategic planning, automation and institutional transformation.
The collaboration between ITDC, LBSNAA and SCOPE reflects a collective commitment towards building AI-ready leadership in India’s governance and public sector ecosystem. While LBSNAA contributes its expertise in administrative capacity building, SCOPE brings the experience of CPSE leadership, and ITDC spearheads the initiative to promote innovation and technology adoption.
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way organisations operate by enabling predictive analytics, improved resource utilisation, faster decision-making and enhanced service delivery. Recognising this potential, the AI Champions Programme aims to create a pool of leaders who can drive responsible and effective AI adoption within their respective institutions.
The New Delhi summit marks a significant milestone in ITDC’s efforts towards fostering innovation, capacity building and technology-led transformation. Through this initiative, ITDC, along with LBSNAA and SCOPE, is contributing to the vision of smarter governance and a more agile, future-ready public sector.
