Pralhad Joshi, the union Minister of Coal, Parliamentary Affairs and Mines tweeted, Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited (MECL in collaboration with NMDC is undertaking joint mineral exploration projects. These projects will reduce our import dependency and further the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

Sumit Deb, the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) commented on Joshi’s tweet: We are one of the most mineral rich countries in the world and home to globally sought-after mineral resources waiting to be explored. It is our duty as key stakeholders of the mining industry to escalate exploration activities and play our part in building a self-reliant India.
