The results of the SCOPE Biennial Elections 2025-27 were announced by Atul Sobti, Director General of Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) and Returning Officer, in the presence of representatives from Member Public Sector Enterprises. The newly elected SCOPE Executive Board will assume office on 1st April 2025.

According to the results, K. P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC (India) Ltd., has been elected as Chairman of SCOPE. Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay, CMD of Goa Shipyard Ltd., has been elected Vice Chairman of SCOPE.

Other members elected to the Executive Board of SCOPE include: Manoj Jain, CMD of BEL; Shantanu Roy, CMD of BEML; Tajinder Gupta, Director (Power) of BHEL; Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel) of POWERGRID; Anil Kumar Jadli, Director (HR) of NTPC; Adhip Nath Palchaudhuri, CMD of Balmer Lawrie; Ayush Gupta, Director (HR) of GAIL; Usha Singh, Director (HR) of MOIL; Arvind Kumar, Director (Refineries) of IOCL; Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel) of NHPC; Lokesh Kumar Aggarwal, Director (Finance) of ITDC; Manish Patil, Director (HR) of ONGC; Sangeeta Ramrakhyani, Director (HR) of CWC; Rashmi Govil, Director (HR) of IOCL; Krishna Kumar Singh, Director (Personnel) of SAIL; Lalit Kumar Gupta, CMD of Cotton Corp; S.B. Mohanty, CMD (I/C) & Director (Finance) of IREL; and Barenya Senapati, Director (Finance) of HAL.

Atul Sobti, while declaring the election results, noted that the active participation of member PSEs in the SCOPE Board elections reflects their strong confidence in SCOPE’s vision and initiatives as the apex organization representing Public Sector Enterprises in India.

With the assumption of office, the newly elected board will embark on a new chapter in SCOPE’s journey, focused on advancing a wide range of initiatives that align with SCOPE’s core values and vision.
