Kamal Nath meets Ambani, ‘says’ M.P. can be multi-sector hub of country.

The Chief Minister of MP Kamal Nath said that there is a need to exploit prospects of industrial investment in Madhya Pradesh in a correct manner. The state could become the centre of the country in new sectors like horticulture, food processing, data processing and energy storage.

Discussions between the Chief Minister Nath and Mukesh Ambani took place in Mumbai today in connection with the investment in new sectors in the state.

In a meeting held with Mukesh Ambani, the Chief Minister Nath invited him for investment in new technology in the state. He said that along with increase in employment opportunities, this will boost business too. This will be profitable for investors and the state both.

Mukesh Ambani mentioned that new doors of development could open in Agriculture sector through partnership of Reliance and Madhya Pradesh Government. Recalling his meeting with the CM Nath, when he was Union Minister, Ambani said that the judicious discussions held with Shri Nath resulted in correct business decisions.

Mukesh Ambani further mentioned that JIO network could be used in women security and crime investigation and control. He said that there is a plan to establish Reliance Global Logistic Hub in Madhya Pradesh on the lines of Amazon and Walmart. These have been already established in Bangaluru and Mumbai.

Moreover,Ambani stated that he is ready to invest in battery manufacturing in energy storage sector in Madhya Pradesh. For this, Madhya Pradesh is the most preferred state. The future of energy storage through vanadium after lithium is bright.Ambani said that Madhya Pradesh could become centre of horticulture. Expansion in food processing sector will benefit farmers the most. Ambani also informed that the data is being used in Madhya Pradesh more than South Korea and U.K.
