Kamran Rizvi, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, assumed the office of Chairman & Managing Director (additional charge), Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited.

Rizvi is a 1991-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. He has done his B Tech and M Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi and subsequently joined Indian Civil Services. He has about 28 years of rich experience as a Civil Servant. He has served in various important capacities both in the state and the central governments. In Uttar Pradesh, he has served in important Ministries and departments in various capacities and some remarkable positions include Principal Secretary, Secretary, Development Commissioner, Commissioner, Director General, Chairman-cum-Managing Director and Secretary to the Chief Minister.
