The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following appointments:

Ms. Rachna Shah, IAS (KL:91), Secretary, Ministry of Textiles has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.

Arunish Chawla, IAS (BH:92), Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Culture till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders whichever is earlier.

Vineet Joshi, IAS (MN:92), presently in the cadre (Manipur) has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education.

Sanjay Sethi, IAS (MH:92), presently in the cadre (Maharashtra) has been appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Minorities, Ministry of Minority Affairs in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India vice Ms. Neelam Shammi Rao, IAS (MP:92) upon her appointment as Secretary, Ministry of Textiles.

Ms. Neelam Shami Rao, IAS (MP:92), Secretary, National Commission for Minorities, Ministry of Minority Affairs has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Textiles vice Ms. Rachna Shah, IAS (KL:91) upon her appointment as Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.

Amit Agrawal, IAS (CG:93), Chief Executive Officer, Unique Identification Authority of India has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers vice Arunish Chawla, IAS (BH:92) upon his appointment as Secretary. Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.

Ms. Neerja Sekhar, IAS (HY:93), Special Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has been appointed as Director General, National Productivity Council, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily upgrading the post.
