By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, based on recommendations from the Police Establishment Board, has ordered the immediate transfer and posting of 43 senior IPS and DANIPS officers. This major administrative reshuffle aims to optimize law enforcement efficiency, strengthen administrative operations, and streamline public safety management across various divisions and districts in the National Capital Territory.

Garima Bhatnagar, IPS (1994), currently serving as Special CP/EOW, has been given additional charge as Managing Director of Delhi Police Housing Corporation Limited (DPHCL).

Manish Agrawal, IPS (1996), serving as Special CP/Traffic, has been transferred and posted as Special CP/PSD to oversee protective security administrative divisions.

Ajay Chaudhary, IPS (1996), who was posted as Special CP/PSD, has been assigned as the new Special CP/Traffic to lead citywide traffic management.

David Lalrinsanga, IPS (1995), Special CP/Operations (PCR & Communication), has been given additional charge of SPUNER alongside his current operations responsibilities.

Atul Katiyar, IPS (1997), Special CP/Vigilance with additional charge of Welfare and Licensing, has been appointed as Special CP/Welfare & Legal Division.

K. Jegadesan, IPS (1998), serving as Special CP/Intelligence Division, will continue in his role while relinquishing the additional charge of Managing Director, DPHCL.

Vivek Kishore, IPS (1999), upon transfer from Arunachal Pradesh, has been posted as Special CP/SPUWAC & Licensing to manage key operational divisions.

Sindhu Pillai, IPS (2001), upon transfer from A&NI, has been appointed as Special CP/Vigilance with additional charge of Perception Management and Media Cell.

Veenu Bansal, IPS (2004), who was attached to Police Headquarters as Joint CP, has been transferred and posted as Joint CP/SPUWAC & SPUNER.

Suman Goyal, IPS (2005), currently serving as Joint CP/HQ, has been transferred and appointed as Joint CP/Western Range to oversee territorial operations.

Rajneesh Gupta, IPS (2005), previously Joint CP/IFSO, has been assigned new duties as Joint CP/Transport Range to direct key regional transport policing.

Jatin Narwal, IPS (2006), currently Joint CP/Western Range, has been transferred and posted as Joint CP/Special Branch to manage sensitive intelligence operations.

Milind Mahadeo Dumbere, IPS (2006), Joint CP/Transport Range, has been posted as Joint CP/Eastern Range, effective from September 1, 2026.

Deepak Purohit, IPS (2007), serving as Joint CP/New Delhi Range, has been reassigned to take over as Joint CP/Licensing.

Nupur Prasad, IPS (2007), currently Joint CP/EOW, has been transferred and appointed as Joint CP/New Delhi Range to oversee territorial security.

Dinesh Kumar Gupta, IPS (2010), currently Additional CP/Traffic, has been appointed as Additional CP/DPHCL to supervise infrastructure projects.

Varsha Sharma, IPS (2010), upon transfer from Goa, has been posted as Additional CP/EOW to lead specialized economic offense investigations.

Pratiksha Godara, IPS (2011), currently Additional CP/DPHCL, has been reassigned as Additional CP/Traffic (HQ) to manage urban traffic administrative functions.

Jitendra Kumar Meena, IPS (2012), upon transfer from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, has been posted as Additional CP/Vigilance to oversee internal affairs.

Nidhin Valsan, IPS (2012), Additional CP/Tech. & PI with additional charge of Special Branch, has been posted as Additional CP/Special Branch.

Raja Banthia, IPS (2014), currently DCP/North District, has been reassigned and posted as DCP/Tech. & PI to handle technology initiatives.

Hemant Tewari, IPS (2014), previously DCP/South East District, has been transferred and posted as DCP/Special Branch to support intelligence management.

Vineet Kumar, IPS (2015), currently DCP/Tech. & PI, has been transferred to assume charge as DCP/South East District.

Manjeet, IPS (2015), upon transfer from Chandigarh, has been appointed as Additional DCP-I/New Delhi District to support administrative operations.

Niharika Bhatt, IPS (2015), serving as Additional DCP-I/North District, has been promoted and posted as DCP/North District.
