Heads of all 54 African countries will participate in the summit to be held in New Delhi from October 26-29.
According to sources the MEA has written to the Consulate offices of participating African countries and sought measurements of their respective heads of the nation for getting traditional Indian attire stitched for them.
India’s this move will promote Khadi in African countries and will boost its awareness and sales.
