MoEF&CC Relieves Two Additional Private Secretaries Attached to Environment Minister

THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| New Delhi: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has issued two separate office orders relieving Additional Private Secretaries (APS) attached to Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav with immediate effect.

According to an office order dated July 3, 2026, Shailesh Kumar Singh, a Central Secretariat Service (CSS) officer serving as Additional Private Secretary to the Minister, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), under the provision of “extended cooling off.” He has been directed to report to the DoPT immediately after being relieved of his duties.

In another order issued the same day, the Ministry announced that the appointment of Ayush Saran as Additional Private Secretary to the Minister has been terminated with immediate effect. He has also been relieved of his responsibilities with immediate effect.

Both orders were issued by Vibhuti Panjiyar, Under Secretary to the Government of India, following the Department of Personnel and Training’s Office Memorandum dated July 2, 2026, and with the approval of the Competent Authority.
