MOIL Reports 32% Growth in Profit for FY 2024-25 Third Quarter

The Board of Directors of MOIL, a leading manganese ore producer, has approved the financial results for the third quarter and the first nine months of FY 2024-25 in its meeting held on 11th February, 2025. The results highlight an exceptional performance in both financial and operational metrics.
Key Performance Highlights:
Profit After Tax (PAT): The company recorded a remarkable 32% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its PAT, reaching Rs. 361.55 crore, compared to the same period last year.
Revenue from Operations: MOIL’s revenue from operations surged to Rs. 1,151.55 crore, marking an 11% growth over the corresponding period in the previous year.
Manganese Ore Production: The company produced 13.30 lakh metric tonnes (MT) of manganese ore, reflecting a 5% growth compared to the previous year.
Manganese Ore Sales: Sales for the period totaled 11.39 lakh MT, showing a 4% increase on a YoY basis.
Exploration and Expansion Efforts:
As part of its ongoing efforts to boost exploration, MOIL completed 72,350 meters of exploratory core drilling between April and December 2024, a 19% increase over the same period last year. This focus on exploration is expected to enhance future production capabilities.
Interim Dividend and Capital Expenditure Plans:
In addition to strong financial performance, the Board has also approved an interim dividend of Rs. 4.02 per share for FY 2025, marking a 15% increase over the previous year’s interim dividend of Rs. 3.50 per share.
The Board also sanctioned five shaft sinking projects worth approximately Rs. 886 crore. These projects, which include two ventilation shafts at the Dongri Buzurg, Chikla, and Kandri Mines, will not only sustain but also expand production capacity in the coming years.
