MP-DGP Kailash Makwana Launches Statewide Review Campaign

As part of this initiative, he will hold a high-level review meeting on Friday with senior police officers, DIGs, and SPs of the Ujjain Zone. On Sunday, a similar meeting is scheduled with officers of the Indore Zone.

Ujjain Zone Review on Friday

DGP Makwana will arrive in Ujjain on Friday to conduct an in-depth review of police functioning in the region. The meeting will include senior officials from districts like Neemuch, Mandsaur, and Ratlam. The agenda includes a performance assessment of the officers and the issuance of strategic guidelines for future policing. Emphasizing direct communication and clear instructions, Makwana aims to accelerate police responsiveness at the ground level.

Indore Zone Meeting on Sunday

Following the Ujjain visit, the DGP will head to Indore on Sunday. He will meet with the Indore Police Commissioner, Zonal IG, rural police leadership, and DIGs and SPs of the Indore Zone. Given Indore’s status as one of the largest cities in the state, the law and order review here holds particular significance. Discussions will focus on crime prevention, resolution of pending cases, and enhancing police efficiency.

Continuous Statewide Engagement

DGP Makwana’s review campaign has already covered the Jabalpur Zone, Balaghat Zone, Bhopal Police Commissionerate, and Bhopal Rural. These meetings allow the DGP to directly understand regional policing challenges and operational needs.

Makwana has emphasized that direct instructions and real-time problem solving are bringing the desired momentum in police operations. His ongoing visits and interactions are seen as a decisive move to streamline and strengthen policing across Madhya Pradesh.
