MP Government Reshuffles Senior IAS Officers: Key Bureaucratic Changes Announced

In a notable administrative overhaul, the Madhya Pradesh government has reshuffled several senior IAS officers, reassigning them to new roles with the aim of enhancing governance and operational efficiency across departments.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Rajora, a 1990-batch officer, has been relieved from his additional responsibilities as Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Vice Chairman of the Narmada Valley Development Authority, Managing Director of the Narmada Basin Project Company Limited, and other roles linked with the Water Resources and Public Service Management departments. He will now continue as Additional Chief Secretary, Narmada Valley Development Department, Vice Chairman of the Narmada Valley Development Authority, Managing Director of the Narmada Basin Project Company Limited, Rehabilitation Member of the Narmada Valley Development Authority, and will retain the additional charge of the Water Resources Department.
Sanjay Dubey, a 1993-batch IAS officer who was serving as Additional Chief Secretary in the General Administration Department, Science and Technology Department, and Legal and Vigilance Cell, besides holding the position of Chairperson of the Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board, has been transferred as Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. He will also continue to hold additional charge of the Science and Technology Department.
Neeraj Mandloi, also a 1993-batch IAS officer, presently serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department, has been given additional responsibilities. He has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, and will continue to serve in the Energy Department and additionally handle the Public Service Management Department.
D.P. Ahuja, a 1996-batch officer, who was Principal Secretary, Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Department and held additional charge of the AYUSH Department and the Cooperation Department, has now been relieved from the Cooperation Department. He will now continue as Principal Secretary, Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Department, and retain additional charge of the AYUSH Department.
Nishant Warwade, a 2003-batch IAS officer who was serving as Commissioner, Higher Education in Bhopal, has been appointed as Secretary in the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Department.
Prabal Sipaha, a 2009-batch officer who was serving as VKA-cum-Secretary, has now been appointed as Commissioner, Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh, and will be associated with the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, Indore.
Ms. Rakhi Sahay, a 2015-batch IAS officer who was serving as Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Financial Corporation, has now been posted as Secretary in the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, Indore.
The reshuffle is seen as part of the government’s strategy to optimize administrative performance and bring in dynamic leadership across key development sectors.
