MP IPS Meet 2026 Concludes on a Grand, Cultural and Family-Centric Note

The valedictory evening was marked by melodious film songs, orchestral music and an elegant family fashion show, leaving participants with lasting memories.
The grand finale took place in the presence of Director General of Police Kailash Makwana, along with several senior officers. Principal Secretary Anurag Jain and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Head of Forest Force V N Ambade, Senior IPS, Upendra Hain, Adarsh Katiyar, Yogesh Choudhary, Sai Manohar, Jaideep Prasad were also present, adding to the dignity of the occasion. Their presence reflected the collective appreciation for the successful conduct of the IPS Samagam.
On the second day, a special cultural programme was organised in the evening at the Police Officers’ Mess for children of police families. The young participants enthralled the audience with their confident and charming performances, showcasing remarkable talent and enthusiasm. The programme underlined the importance of family bonding and inclusivity within the police ecosystem. Awards were distributed to the participants by the Director General of Police, encouraging and motivating the children.
The cultural celebrations continued with a soulful performance by renowned singer Pratibha Singh Baghel, who captivated the gathering with evergreen Bollywood melodies. The lively atmosphere saw women officers and family members joyfully swaying to the rhythmic tunes, adding vibrancy to the evening. In a delightful and spontaneous moment, DGP Kailash Makwana himself rendered a popular film song, drawing warm applause and making the evening truly unforgettable.
One of the most awaited highlights of the closing ceremony was the family fashion show. Police officers walked the ramp with their spouses and children, presenting a beautiful blend of elegance, tradition and unity through diverse attire. The show symbolised the strong bond between professional duty and family life, reinforcing the humane and compassionate side of the police force.
With the family fashion show, the two-day MP IPS Meet 2026 came to a graceful close, leaving behind a strong message of unity, cultural richness and shared pride.
