Bhopal, Dec 31, 2025 – Kailash Makwana, Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh, has extended heartfelt New Year 2026 greetings to all police personnel and their families. In his message, he reflected on the remarkable accomplishments of 2025, including efforts towards making the state Naxal-free, successful implementation of Dial-112, recruitment drives to fill vacant posts, citizen grievance redressal, e-office initiatives, and awareness campaigns against narcotics and cyber fraud.

He lauded the force for locating thousands of missing minor girls, ensuring peaceful festival celebrations, and enhancing officers’ health and fitness through collaboration with Heartfulness. Key initiatives such as the first Change Maker Award, e-HRMS implementation, and rapid transfer of over 11,000 personnel to improve efficiency were highlighted.

Looking ahead to 2026, Makwana emphasized planned measures for traffic safety, cyber capacity building, leveraging AI and technology, stricter action against drug traffickers, timely presentation of facts on social media, and preparations for a successful and secure Simhasth 2028. He reiterated the importance of police stations as the foundation of the department, urging sensitivity towards victims, swift action against crimes targeting women and children, and building public trust through exemplary conduct.

Concluding on a motivational note, he expressed confidence that coordinated efforts will continue to provide Madhya Pradesh’s citizens a safe and peaceful environment while upholding the police’s motto of “Patriotism through Public Service.”
