Ms.Vartika Shukla, CMD, Engineering India Limited, delivered an address on “India en route Energy Transition” in the Project Managers Global Summit 2022 organized by PMA India. “Project Management for Attaining Net Zero Carbon” was the theme for the Summit where she gave a glimpse of Energy Transition imperatives for India amidst changing global energy landscape. She emphasized the role of various alternative sources of energy, CCUS technologies and its large scale deployment as key towards making India a Net Zero carbon emitting nation by the year 2070.

Vartika Shukla has the distinction of being the first-ever woman C&MD of the Company.

A graduate in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Ms. Shukla joined EIL in 1988 and possesses extensive consulting experience comprising Design, Engineering and Implementation of complexes in Refining, Gas Processing, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers etc. She has led to the successful completion of many prestigious projects for clients in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry both in India and Overseas.
