MW Ansari welcomes (UNGA) for recognising Urdu as language for communication

In a move symbolic of the changing and democratic nature of communications at the United Nations, the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) adopted Urdu.
The resolution promoted the UN’s Department of Global Communications to use both official and non-official languages, including Urdu, in its communications.
Mohammad Wazir Ansari, former DGP (IPS) ex Secretary Molana Azad Education Foundation of India welcomed this move of first time mention of Urdu as languages for communicating important information and messages of the UN. Ansari gave stressed on the maximum usage of Urdu in all the platforms across. MW Ansari has been instrumental in promoting Urdu language as a mission.
