NBCC Signs MoU for New Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in Delhi

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA|NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the planning, design, and construction of the new Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi at an estimated project cost of Rs 105.5 Crore (excluding GST and PMC charges). The mega project will be executed on a turnkey deposit work basis.
The MoU was signed by Pravin Kumar, IAS, Resident Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, and Anil Kumar, CGM (Engg.), NBCC (India) Ltd. The strategic pact was finalized in the august presence of Dr. K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman & Managing Director of NBCC (India) Ltd., alongside Arja Srikanth, Special Commissioner, AP Bhavan, and Dr. Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial), NBCC (India) Ltd.
The new AP Bhavan will feature a total proposed built-up area of approximately 2,49,000 Sq.ft. As the designated executing agency, NBCC will spearhead the entire lifecycle of the project through a structured, sequential framework. This spans from the initial preparation of architectural concept plans and detailed structural drawings to contract management, open tendering, and final construction. Additionally, both entities have agreed that a separate MoU will be executed in the future to hand over comprehensive annual maintenance to NBCC or its subsidiary for a minimum period of 5 years. The new landmark structure will stand as a symbol of modern governance and state-of-the-art architecture in New Delhi. NBCC is fully committed to leveraging its core expertise in project management and infrastructure development to deliver a world-class facility to support the Government of Andhra Pradesh’s operations and presence in the national capital.
