Several Officers Appointed to Key Positions under Central Staffing Scheme

The Government of India has issued a series of fresh appointments under the Central Staffing Scheme, placing officers from IAS, IRS, IOFS, and IES cadres in important roles across ministries and departments in Delhi. These postings include assignments in sports, commerce, youth affairs, education, vigilance, and justice, with tenures ranging from two to five years.
Nisha appointed Private Secretary to MoS Youth Affairs & Sports
Nisha, IAS (UP:2015), has been appointed as Private Secretary to Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse. She will serve at the Deputy Secretary level in the Ministry for five years, co-terminus with the minister or until further orders.
Tariq Thomas appointed Director in Ministry of Commerce
Tariq Thomas, IAS (AGMUT:2011), has been selected for Central deputation as Director in the Ministry of Commerce, Delhi. His appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme is for five years from the date he assumes charge, replacing his current responsibilities under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Davinder Chodha appointed Deputy Secretary in Government e-Marketplace
Davinder Chodha, IRS (IT:2015), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in Government e-Marketplace under the Ministry of Commerce, Delhi. His posting on Central deputation is for a combined tenure of four years, up to March 14, 2028, including ex-cadre and CSS deputation.
Zuber Mohd appointed Deputy Secretary in Olympics Division
Zuber Mohd, IOFS (2014), has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Olympics Division, Department of Sports, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. His tenure is for two years, extendable as per rules. He will assume charge upon relief from his present duties in the Department of Defence Production.
Ramesh Verma appointed Director in Youth Affairs (My Bharat Division)
Ramesh Verma, IAS (AGMUT: 2009), has been appointed as Director in the Department of Youth Affairs (My Bharat Division), Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. He will serve a five-year tenure or until further orders. He has been asked to take up his new role immediately after relief.
Tamanna Sinha appointed Deputy Secretary in Central Vigilance Commission
Tamanna Sinha, IES (2012), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. She will serve for four years or until further orders. She is required to join her new assignment in CVC upon immediate relief from the Department of Economic Affairs.
Prateek Kumar Mishra appointed Director in Department of Justice
Prateek Kumar Mishra, IRS (IT) (2011), has been appointed Director in the Department of Justice, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. His tenure is for five years or until further orders. He will assume the role immediately after being relieved from his present duties in the Department of Revenue.
Ira Singhal appointed Deputy Secretary in School Education & Literacy
Ira Singhal, IAS (AGMUT: 2015), has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Department of School Education & Literacy, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. She will serve a four-year tenure or until further orders. She has been directed to join her new assignment immediately after relief from her current posting.
