NHPC Limited was felicitated as the winner of ‘India’s Best & Globally Competitive Power Company – Hydro & Renewable Energy Sector’ at the glittering ’15th Inertia Awards 2022′. U.S. Shahi, Executive Director (EMS/CC/CSR), NHPC received the award on behalf of NHPC at a grand ceremony held at New Delhi Institute of Management, New Delhi on 22 December 2022.NHPC has been conferred with the award for its leadership in the hydropower sector with a gross asset class renewable energy capacity of over 7000 MW. The award is also an acknowledgment that NHPC has over 5000 MW of projects under construction and an ambitious plan to add over 7000 MW of solar power capacity.
This award was given to V.M. Presented by Bansal, Chairman, New Delhi Institute of Management. During the function K. Vijayanand, Special Chief Secretary, Energy, Government of Andhra Pradesh and A.K. Singh, Ex-CMD, NHPC were also present
