The event was inaugurated by Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, in the presence of Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel); Suprakash Adhikari, Director (Technical); and Ashok Kumar, ACP (Cyber Crime), Faridabad, Haryana Police.

The programme saw enthusiastic participation from officers at the Corporate Office, while employees from various NHPC locations across the country joined virtually through video conferencing. The Cybercrime Cell, Faridabad conducted an insightful and interactive session on cyber security, focusing on the latest threats, preventive measures, and responsible digital practices to safeguard organizational data and individual privacy.

A key highlight of the event was the launch of the ‘Cyber Safe AI Chatbot’ – an innovative tool developed for NHPC employees to promote cyber awareness and provide quick access to essential information and guidelines. The CMD appreciated NHPC’s continuous efforts in integrating cutting-edge technologies and reinforcing its cyber security infrastructure.

The initiative reflects NHPC’s strong commitment to creating a secure digital ecosystem and nurturing a culture of cyber awareness across the organization, aligning with the national vision of digital resilience and security.
