In a significant achievement toward completion of NHPC 2000 MW Subansiri Lower HE Project, the Stator of Unit 4 was lowered on 14.11.24. The event was witnessed virtually by R.K. Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC and Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects & Technical), NHPC and other senior officers from the Corporate Office. Rajendra Prasad, ED (SLP) & HoP and other senior officers from the project and GE Power India Ltd. were present on this occasion. The Stator of Units in Subansiri Project is of the largest size in any of the hydro Project in India with maximum weight of 395 Tons and bore diameter of 11.5 meter. CMD,NHPC & Director (Projects & Technical), NHPC congratulated ED (SLP) & his team on this accomplishment. This activity will facilitate early completion & commissioning of the Project.
